Global Enterprise Week - On 17th November 2010, Fiona Reid attended the HERO Project's
G.L.E.E. (Girls and Ladies Enterprise Event). This was a special event organised to bring together young ladies from the towns' schools with representatives from many walks of business. Over 30 business women attended the event to hear guest speaker Kirsty Henshaw of Dragon's Den success, and to network and share their experiences of business and careers with students aged 14-19. The HERO Project works with high schools, special schools and FE providers in Blackpool, contributing to raise aspirations and develop employability skills in 5-19 year olds across the town.
